Liberty First PAC, a national committee of tea party organizers and activists, congratulates Ray McKinney for his strong performance and first place win in the Georgia Republican Primary!
Ray McKinney, a fiscal conservative hawk and long time patriot in the movement, finished the primary with 42.6% of the vote. The second place goes to Carl Smith, who pulled 27.9%, creating a runoff election scheduled for August 10.
Liberty First PAC and the Patriot Caucus have supported Ray McKinney from the day he decided to run for Congress, and we’re proud to continue supporting his candidacy into the general election and beyond.
Liberty First PAC is currently hosting a fundraiser to raise $5,000 to spend in the Georgia race. Our intention is to contribute $1,000 directly to the campaign and spend $4,000 in independent expenditures to promote Ray to the voters in Georgia.

Illinois held the nation’s first primary election today, and one of our endorsed candidates, Adam Kinzinger for Congress, dominated his race for the nod in the 11th Congressional District.
According to the AP, there were a total of 50,443 votes cast in the district. Of those votes cast, Adam Kinzinger walked away with a whopping 32,121. Continue Reading

A few days ago, we announced our support for Adam Kinzinger for Congress in the 11th District of Illinois. Adam Kinzinger, as many local tea party activists in the 11th district of Illinois have personally pointed out to us, is a true liberty minded candidate.
Adam’s service to America in our military is something we can’t thank him enough for. His strong conservative credentials and stances on the issues make us proud in our endorsement and support of his candidacy.
Unfortunately, one of Kinzinger’s opponents came unhinged today in a laughable, unrealistic attack against our PAC and those of you who support Kinzinger through financial support. Continue Reading
