Adam Kinzinger, candidate for Congress in the 11th District of Illinois, is a shining light in a very dark part of the country. Indeed, the state of Illinois has for too long been represented by special interests, corrupt politicians, and union-driven thugs.
In fact, Illinois is currently in a position of a possible $11 BILLION dollar budget shortfall. Residents of Chicago now pay well over 10% in sales tax, and state government is constantly attempting to raise state income taxes.
To put it simply, the people of the state of Illinois simply cannot afford to continue on its current path. With fresh, principled leadership, the Land of Lincoln can emerge as an ideas center instead of a national punchline.
About Adam Kinzinger
At the age of 20, Adam Kinzinger achieved his first electoral victory over a 12-year entrenched McLean County board member and immediately brought small-government ideas to the county. He was easily re-elected in 2002. One year later, Adam decided to serve his country in a different way, and joined the Air Force, where he continues to serve as pilot with the Air Force Special Operations Command. Kinzinger received the United States Air Force Airman’s Medal, National Guard’s Valley Forge Cross for Heroism, and was selected as the Southeastern Wisconsin American Red Cross Hero of the Year after saving a young woman from a violent attack in 2007.

About the Race for Illinois CD-11
Adam Kinzinger will need to get through the GOP primary, then he’ll face liberal Democrat incumbent Rep. Debbie Halvorson in the general election.
The district leans slightly Republican in voters, but Halvorson was able to take the seat in 2008 due to a Barack Obama tidal wave over Illinois, a botched GOP primary, and overwhelming anti-Republican sentiment. Halvorson had an opportunity and she embraced it.
But that was 2008, this is 2010.
A new day is upon us, and we believe that when the voters of Illinois get to know Adam Kinzinger, they will support the real change coming to the 11th Congressional District of Illinois.
